I meet so many people who feel frustrated and overwhelmed in their gardens: from not being sure quite what plants they have, to not knowing how and when to correctly care for them - and even just not knowing where to start. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn how to garden for the first time, or you’re an experienced gardener keen to master a new skill, hands-on learning in person makes all the difference.
What to expect from one-to-one garden coaching
My sessions are tailored to your garden and your needs. We’ll start with a chat by phone or email to understand what you want to learn and develop a plan to tackle it together. Some people like to book a one-off session to learn a specific skill like rose-pruning, or you might prefer monthly or seasonal sessions to get to grips with the whole garden over the course of a year.
When we’re working together I will show you how to do the task, explain the theory behind the practice, and then guide you through how to do it yourself. We’ll go at your pace and answer any questions as we go. I’ll have my favourite tools with me, and I can show you how the right tool for the job can make your life easier.
Coaching sessions are available on weekdays year-round and also in the evenings in the lighter months. Each session lasts for 90 minutes and costs £60. I offer coaching in gardens in Norwich and South Norfolk.
